Alesha Dixon won the Strictly Come Dancing. Whilst not a ballroom fan, I really admire the hard work these people have put in. I see the judges are wanting more money for next time. £60,000 for 12 weeks is not enough, I wish. About time old Bruce Forsyth moved along. His jokes are a bit thin and worn, and he keeps using old his old cliches from his old shows.
England drew the Test match, lucky with the help from the weather. We were beaten all ends up in bowling, fielding, and especially batting. Good job we don't face the Aussies next. I hear Michael Vaughan has suggested performance bonus's. What a joke, if pride can't spur you on playing for England, then you should not be in the team. If you you make runs or take wickets your bonus is that you will be in the next test.
Tottenham lost again yesterday to Arsenal. A point was lost with Robbie Keane missing a penalty.
Worked yesterday, had several viewings of houses. My company for information is Ryder and Dutton. Today we are preparing for Xmas, getting the house ready for guest on Christmas day.

Greed and Holiday Misery
Well, amazing isn't it. The Government rfefusess to give the Police their full pay award, but yet the greedy MP's are wanting their full inlation busting pay recommendation. It looks like one rule for one, and another rule for the others. It's not just Labour party MP's either, the Conservatives seem to be just as bad. MP John Butterfill stated the MP's have an official review body, and he hopes the Government will agree with the Review bodies recommendations. I bet he does. Lets face it MP's get a good salary, alot of expenses, including help with buying a second home (to sell at a profit later), long holidays, and a pension second to none. I hope Gordon Brown applies the same rules to these spoilt, privileged few.
I feel sorry for those poor people whose Xmas holiday plans have gone up in smoke. A travel firm has collapsed, and ceased business. The company Travelscope, employs over 200 people who have lost their jobs. Not the best of times.

Shopping, Yuk
Today went shopping in Huddersfield for final Xmas gifts. I love Christmas, but hate the shopping part. Took my car a Nissan in for its service, all money going out.
We had a murder in Holmfirth over the weekend, and one in Dewsbury. Its tragic at the best of times, but so near Xmas is more poignant. You have to feel for the relatives.

Lost and Found
Well we lost the Test Match, but Mrs Darwin found Mr Darwin, or at least the police did, and Chief Constable Med Hughes lost his licence.
Yes we lost the Test match to Sri Lanka, despite a godd knock by Ian Bell again. The main batsmen let us down again. Still onto Galle for the next test.
Mr Darwin the canoist turns up after 5 1/2 years, his wife has moved to Panama, knew nothing of the whereabouts of her husband, received a life insurance payout, and lo and behold the Daily Mirror a photo allegedly showing Mr & Mrs Darwin together in Panama. Maybe I'm thick or something, but the Darwins tale does not seem to stand the test. Still I'm sure it will all come out in the wash. Still chaps, if your wife buys you a canoe for Xmas, you could be going to Panama for a holiday.
med Hughes the chief of South Yorkshire Police has lost his licence. At least I admire his courage in owning up to what he had done and taking the consequences, unlike some in his position would have come up with some lame flimsy excuse to try and get off.
Finally I see the Mohammed, teddy bear and profit jokes have started doing the rounds. I wont repeat them as I don't want to end up in hot water.
