The funeral took place in Pakistan, in Sindh province of Benazir Bhutto. Apparently banks were destroyed, and train stations, and about 20 people have died since the incident. It seems there could be alot of trouble ahead in Pakistan. Apparently Al Quaeda have claimed responsibility. Big men, arn't they taking on unarmed people.

Joey Barton the Newcastle footballer has been kept in custody over New Year for an assault in Liverpool. The lad is a fool. it would seem he can't cope with the responsibility of being a very well paid footballer, and all that goes with it. I cant see his career lasting too long if thats how he behaves.

Tow people have died after going down the Long Churn Pot, in the Yorkshire Dales. It would seem that the cave flooded and they were trapped. It does seem madness to go down when the weather has been so bad.

A little girl died down south when she was hit by a vehicle as she drove her quad bike, downa public road at six in the evening following her parents four wheel drive. As much as I feel sorry for the parents losing their child, they must shoulder alot of the responsibility for her death. As well as it being illegal what she did, it was downright stupid for them to allow it.

Looks like Australia will beat India in the cricket test. The West Indies look to be coming good and seem to have the upper edge against south Africa.

Back to work for me tomorrow, then out to my sons in Manchester for a meal.
