Friday was a quiet day for me, no work. Saturday I worked, but the estate agents was quiet. sunday I went to Sheffield with Jill to meet my youngest son and his Japanese girlfriend at the railway station. They are with us over Xmas and New Year. On Saturday our eldest son bought a new car, a little Peugeot. He lives in Manchester.
The Europeans met the Africans in a big summit in Portugal. As usual alot of hot air, but not much will be achieved, the same as in Bali. There was lot of talk, but until we see some action, who knows.
Good win for Spurs on Saturday at Portsmouth. A vital three points. Hopefully they can start climbing up the table. England start the third test in Galle, Sri Lanka tomorrow. We visited there a few years ago, and its a lovely place, but the ground is a new one. A win badly needed.
